Bellydance Bootcamp Class

 

Classes are open and ongoing. Drop-ins are welcome.

Get ready to drill repetition in this hard working class designed to improve your quality of movement and sharpen your skills. After a thorough warm-up with conditioning exercise designed to strengthen and tone the bellydancer's body, this class works to polish and refine your moves and steps. Having trouble with some moves and want to perfect them? We drill it all with the level of repetition you need to build strength, stamina and clean technique. We’ll work on everything from posture, arms/hands, flow,  lifts, drops, circles, figure 8’s, horizontal and vertical moves, twists, shimmies, slides, undulations, locks, travelling steps, layering. Plus fun combinations at the end of the class that'll really get your heart pumping! Some weeks we'll focus the class on a theme for example zils, cane, veil, taxeem, travelling, dance movement. Always a fun class full of variety and you will really feel as though you've achieved something by the end of class time. Come prepared to drill down and get sweaty!  Great workout and all levels are welcome.  We recommend students should have a good foundation of at least level 1 to take this class.
