Welcome to BellyUp's Student Practice Kit designed to give you a companion to practice with at home when you're not at the studio. It's important to get to class regularly and consistently if you really want to learn the art form of bellydance. Bellydance takes a considerable length of time to learn even for a person with previous dance experience. So the more you can practice what you've learned in class , even if it's ten minutes a day it's better than having no practice time whatsoever. We'll be adding and updating practice videos for you on a regular basis so you'll have a variety of practice tools to help you along. Repeat the videos as many times as you like and you'll be getting in some great practice and having a good workout too. In a short time you will really notice a difference when you get back to class. Your body will start to absorb how the movements are supposed to feel - and the more you build muscle control and muscle memory the more second nature the dance form will start to feel.
