Here's what's coming up in our new Kitchener location:
May 19th BellyUp's Joharah, Valizan and Faith teach at Spring DanceSport Challenge in Hamilton Convention Centre - Four Egyptian style dance workshops, ATS and Bollywood workshops. Tickets are available through BellyUp if you would like to attend. Take workshops in all dance genres from Salsa to Bellydance.
May 25th - Girl's Night Out at BellyUp Oakville - mini lessons, open dance floor for everyone, impromptu performances, shopping, more! $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
May 27th - Saidi Clinic with Joharah, Sunday, 10:30am. - 12:30pm. - $40 includes HST - Learn the earthy, fabulous Saidi style aka Raks Assaya with Joharah! Email info@bellyup.ca or call 519 954-5832 to register with credit card. Students please bring cane and finger cymbals to this workshop. Loaners available but bringing your on is preferable.
June 10th - Beginner Bellydance Routine with Joharah - 6:30pm-9:30pm - We’re holding a Beginner Bellydance Workshop to teach beginner level students a short, fun choreography that they can perform as a group on stage at the upcoming student showcase. There is no pressure to perform however, and if you’d like to learn the routine and not perform that’s ok too. The student showcase is such a fun time where all the different classes come together to show off their bellydance skills in front of their friends and family on a real stage! Come prepared to learn an entire belly dance routine during that time. The choreography will be around 3 minutes long. We’ll provide you with the music and a helpful on-line practice video to help you rehearse at home. Workshop Cost is $35.00 and includes music and online practice video and translation. Deadline to reserve a spot in the workshop is May 31st. Please email info@bellyup.ca to do so. This workshop will fill fast so please reserve your spot soon!

October 27/28th - Joharah & Nourhan Sharif teach together in Fort Worth, Texas at the Annual Dare to Dream Bellydance Event hosted by Crescent Moon dance studio.
November 8 - 11th - Joharah teaches at Ahlan Cairo Nights, Montreal, Canada - Come along with us to the Ahlan Cairo Nights Oriental Dance Festival - a weekend of workshops and gala shows starring Randa Kamel, Aida Nour, Khaled Mahmoud, Lubna Emam, Joharah, Nada and Khadija.
