Friday night Mdm. Lubna will teach a 2-hour, straight-up Egyptian technique and nuance master class along with a Q&A immediately following.

On both Saturday and Sunday, the morning technique classes will be teaching the technique that is found within the choreography Lubna will teach in the afternoon. It is highly recommended that students take both of these classes to get the most out of the choreography class. The technique class is important to being able to learn the choreography she will present.

Q&A After Class

Don't miss Friday night's opportunity to learn Egyptian technique and nuance from Lubna Emam. She'll also include some lecture and theory time to reinforce what she is teaching. Last time she was here she taught a kick-butt technique only class that was incredible and still talked about today with dancers that attended.

SATURDAY
11am.-1pm. BALADI AWALIM STYLE TECHNIQUE
2:00-4:00PM. BALADI AWALIM STYLE CHOREOGRAPHY
1 hour lunch break.

Awalim style is what came before Oriental Dance. It is the original Bellydance! This is a rare opportunity to learn the essence and the roots of Awalim style from a teacher who has lived, breathed and taught this style for many, many years.

SUNDAY
10-NOON ORIENTAL "MEJANSE/ENTRANCE" TECHNIQUE
1:00-3:00PM ORIENTAL 'MEJANSE/ENTRANCE" CHOREOGRAPHY
1 hour lunch break.

Lubna always choreographs with such elegance, subtlety and earthy feeling that you cannot help but fall in love with the way she combines not only steps and movement but how she brings them to life with feeling and nuance.
